European Opera-directing Prize - EOP
9th European Opera-directing Prize 2016
The competition is aimed at young directors and production teams aged up to 35. The Prize is awarded every second year to the best
production and design concept for an operatic work selected and communicated in advance.
The winners receive prizes of a total amount of 35,000 €. The EOP also gives the winning team the opportunity to stage their concept in a renowned European opera house – the most
